  1. nice would be a nice upgrade quad memory and more pcie line perso its not about doing sli or crossfire but adding pcie ssd or anything without worrying about getting my main pcie gpu getting down to 8x
  2. actual system is a asus x99 pro with a 5820k @4.4 gskill ripjaw 16 g ram (4x) wich running on quad channel @ 3200mhz cl16 1t case is a fractal define s cpu cooler phantek ph-tc14pe gpu evga gtx 980 ti classified sound card creative sound blaster z with ssd raid 0 samsung evo 250g X2 with 3tb n 1 tb wd on a 850 watt antec true power the case have 4 140mm fan and 1 120mm and last thing i love and i don have choice is my wifi card ASUS Dual-Band Wireless-AC1900 with that tripod antenna and no i didnt went in a vacation for a long time... poor but happy
  3. dont watch his temps just wanted to show people inside of the chip. But i seriously dont know much about i5 like as he had at the end but ya at 98c theirs a prob. My old 3770k at 4.7 started to reach 92 in prim wich i found 2 excessive main reason why i kept it to 4.6 And yes if you pay more you can have better like my 5820k at 4.4 never get over 80c on air cooling nomatter the load as i give. Seriously performance wise the 3770k was really good went from a amd fx-6100 3.9 (with stock turbo_95watt) to my 3770k wich i kept sotck for a long time (turbo at 3.9) i got like 50% more in futurmark 11 perf same ram same everything (except motherboard and cpu) everything started to be so smooth and their i started to forgot software running in the background. I sold it mainly to have more feature on new motherboard i went with a 6 core at the place of skylake for many reason and like the one i posted and actully theirs many games that i play that use my 6 core gta 5, doom, battlefield 4, crysis at the end benchmark choose for me cause the board i wanted was the same price for a x99 and a z170
  4. ya it kinda suck i was very disappointed when i saw that on skylake.
  5. exemple of build made, use and sold i7 3770k oc @ 4.6 ram g.skill 2400 mhz cas 10 ssd samsung 850 evo X2 (raid 0) 1 tb scorpio black edition for files, backup, music and some games gpu EVGA gtx 980 OC psu 850 watt antec true power motherboard asrock extrem4 z77 (would prefer asus but its a long story) colling system xspc raystorm 750 ex280 as i don't recommend to anyone, casing corsair 450D, wich is a nice looking case but freaking painful to work in it.
  6. I use to build many system amd/intel cpu on air and watercooling, ownd nvidia/amd gpu did crossfire/sli overcloack cpu, gpu, tryed raid 0 with dual hdd and with dual ssd, tryed some sound card, wireless card... i would be happy to help anyone building new build, suggestion or compatibility between components.
  7. my corsair k70 didnt last a years before the key on the cherry start to broke one by one then beer kill the thing. After i bought a cooler master quickfire its a cherry mx brown keyboard without the num pad and seriously i love the small size very much. But 1 plastic key already broke when i simply playing bad company 2 i do really love the feeling of the cherry mx brown but omg i wont ever buy a expensive keyboard they doesnt seems to last long, i never got that problem before with cheaper keyboard.
